Welcoming SMG Ballito and SMG North Coast

SMG has agreed to relinquish SMG Pietermaritzburg and SMG South Coast, which will now be owned and operated by Supertech. SMG has in turn acquired Ballito Autohaus as well as the trading rights for BMW in Northern Natal. As of 1 December 2017, we will trade as SMG Ballito out of the current Ballito Autohaus building and as SMG North Coast out of a temporary facility in Richards Bay pending the opening of our new dealership.

Most importantly, we would like to thank each and every one of our customers for their loyal support and also apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause you. SMG’s presence in KZN as well as the Western Cape is as strong as ever and we will continue to trade as SMG in Durban, SMG Umhlanga, SMG Ballito, SMG North Coast as well as our two dealerships in the Western Cape, SMG Cape Town and SMG Tygervalley.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]A note from Sean McCarthy

“Although difficult to say goodbye to SMG Pietermaritzburg and SMG South Coast, the new opportunities that the Ballito and the North Coast regions offer are hugely exciting. From a group perspective, SMG will now take care of all BMW needs throughout the greater Durban and North Coast Regions.

With the vast growth north of Umhlanga, Ballito and continuing through to Richards Bay, the aim of SMG will be to establish dealerships that will offer these regions the award winning SMG BMW experience. We are extremely excited to commence trading on the 1^st of December and we look forward to acquainting ourselves with these communities.

There are a number of new BMW models due to launch over the next few months, including the highly anticipated X3 this month and the X2 early next year. BMW Motorrad is welcoming the G310 GS, the F750 GS and the F850 GS of which will be available at our Motorrad dealerships SMG Umhlanga and SMG North Coast.
