Ineos Grenadier comes to SMG

SMG is thrilled to announce our appointment as the exclusive retailer of the all-conquering Ineos Grenadier for the South African coastal regions of KZN, Western Cape, Northern Cape & Eastern Cape with retail outlets in Umhlanga Rocks and Cape Town.

With permanent four-wheel drive, two-speed transfer case, centre, rear, and front locking differentials, approach and departure angles optimised for off-road usage, and an optional raised air intake for dusty environments, the Grenadier is the uncompromising 4×4 that adventurers have been waiting for.

Built on a ladder frame chassis with solid beam axles and underride protection, and coil-sprung suspension delivering the perfect balance of ride, off-road capability and reliability, the Grenadier is a 4X4 that’s hard to break, and easy to fix.

Using engines by BMW, transmissions from ZF, axles by Carraro, seats by Recaro and engineered by Magna, the Grenadier has been developed alongside elite industry partners with centuries of combined experience.

Whether it’s a boat, horse or trailer, the Grenadier is ready to pull its weight. Literally. Featuring electrical power takeoff, USB connectivity, and an adaptable open source approach, you can plug in and use your own tools, tech and accessories. A workbench, generator and 4X4 all in one.

Reliability and strength are critical in an expedition vehicle like the Grenadier which is why the Ineos engineering team put the Grenadier through 1.8 million km of extensive testing across all terrains, altitudes and climates, to ensure it’s ready to do the jobs you need it to do.

The interior of the Grenadier features a bespoke infotainment system with on-road navigation delivered through the  integrated Apple Carplay / Android Auto, so mapping is always up to date through your mobile device. With a  Pathfinder Off-Road Navigation System  for when the roads run out, the Grenadier has everything you need, and nothing you don’t.
