This contribution has allowed SSPT to reach remote areas more effectively, implement key social development projects, and build stronger relationships with neighbouring communities.

Over the past year, the Trust has achieved remarkable results across its three pillars of impact: Education, Environment, and Economic Development.
1. Education
Through programmes like the Good Work Foundation’s Digital Learning Campuses and Project Dignity, SSPT has helped rural youth and schoolgirls access education, digital skills, and opportunities for the future. Initiatives such as the School Safari Programme have brought over 1,200 learners into the reserve to experience conservation first-hand, inspiring the next generation of environmental leaders.
2. Environment
From food security and waste management to rabies vaccination campaigns and rangeland management, SSPT’s environmental projects promote resilience and health in both people and ecosystems. Their partnerships with organisations like the Africa Conservation Trust have created long-term agricultural and sustainability benefits for local communities.
