The New Mini Countryman D

Earlier this year the new MINI Countryman was revealed to South Africa. Boasting a bigger and bolder design,increased luxury and the latest technology, the new Countryman has never been more suited for a growing family.
Previously, MINI customers were only able to select from a derivative of petrol engines when speccing their MINI, Countryman or otherwise. All has changed as for the first time in South Africa, MINI has launched a Diesel engine into the range, and what better model to kick start this progression than the latest MINI model –  Welcome the Mini Countryman  D.

The low-end torque produced by this new engine makes highway cruising a dream, especially when matched to the ultra-smooth 8-Speed Automatic gearbox.

With MINI’s driving modes, one can choose from Green, Mid or Sport, depending on their driving mood. Green mode emphasises the comfort and relaxed drive of the Mini Countryman by further optimising the accelerator for fuel saving purposes, and adjusting the steering and suspension for comfort, perfect for long distance adventures. On the other end of the scale, Sport Mode does the exact opposite, throttle sensitivity is increased, and steering becomes more precise, enabling a more spirited and enjoyable driving experience.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3550″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]With the MINIConnected system, the driver can always be in touch with their MINI no matter how much distance is between them.
